Izola has eight diverse beaches along 5 km of coastline. One of the most beautiful is the wild beach of Bele skale<\/strong>, located in the Strunjan Landscape Park. Here, the sea turns a particular shade of almost azure. Younger generations will enjoy the beach below Belvedere<\/strong>, which is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the city and where there is always something going on. Families will be especially happy just a few metres away, in San Simon<\/strong> Bay. There is a large water slide, volleyball courts, a children’s playground, etc. Right next to the beach, you can also explore the archaeological park<\/strong> of Islonia, where you can learn more about the stories of the Romans. The most iconic beach in Isola, where on clear days you can enjoy a view of the Alps, is Svetilnik<\/strong> Beach. Here you can relax in the shade of the trees or soak up the sun’s rays by the white beacon. This beach is also a favourite spot for locals.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
